Another problem, which nobody has mentioned so far: even when things appear to be working normally - as yesterday afternoon - I wanted to trawl my old comments for some info I'd forgotten; I got to page 1 (of 100) just fine, but when I hit 'Previous' everything froze.

You mean that your web browser freezes? I can't do anything about that, it is a client-side problem.
What browser do you use? If it is Internet Explorer 6, either upgrade it to 7 or 8, or replace it (e.g. by Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera or Apple Safari)

I use Firefox ... but it's OK now.

If you get the USSR flag instead of the Serbian one, just refresh the page, it is an old one in the cache (previously I used "RS" for USSR, which is the new code of Serbia)
