Hi Everyone,

I was allways curios: does anyone know anything about the Gullwing in Godfather. The car ist just barely shown when Fredo arrives at the Tahoe Mansion. I guess, from the pictures, the car is at least once restored - prior to the movie - and from what i can see has US headlights. so it is propably a hollywood car. As far as I could find out by now, the car is not identified yet. (considering chassis no / ownership) Obviously it is a 300 SL Gullwing, W 198 (I) - as shown in the movie - in DB 180 "silver" (original silbergrau.metallic).

btw.: If anyone has questions about the kind of cars, or early Ferrari or prewar Bentley / Mercedes, just give a en email.
