A 1968-72 Chevrolet El Camino SS with the lightning fast 454 motor. Again, someone who knows these can tell me the exact year.

Did some wandering around today, here's a bunch of stuff I saw. You can decide what's interesting and what isn't.
I'm Feeling to lazy to crop the pictures or take the plates out, sorry.
Oh, nobody break into any of these cars, or the guy who owns the F250 in the background here will run me over
I was still wandering around the parking lot taking pictures when he was leaving, and he pulled over and started yelling and swearing at me, saying I was going to break into people's cars.
I'm laughing now, but he was a really big guy, and he was pretty pissed off. That sort of thing is why I don't do this very often (and why I don't shoot cars on private property. Except the International Harvester. I had a good reason!), people are unreasonable.
Oh, and the foreground. It's just a beat up Caprice, I thought it was interesting.
Chrysler Neon for taxiguy:
The reason I was wandering around a supermarket parking lot in the first place was to find the Pontiac Wave you also asked for, but I didn't notice any.
Here's another Chrysler though:
I've seen these, but I didn't know they were called Town & Country.
XJ6, looked to be in very nice condition.
Then a new one pulled up;
I'm not sure what that one is, I think the guy in the F250 pulled up and started swearing at me here.
Been meaning to shoot this car for a while. It seems strange that someone would go to such effort modifying a MkI Cavalier. This is the same car audio shop that had the Testarossa I shot before. This car is always here though.
You can see my ratty old bike in the background here
Pretty sure that's not an intercooler.
There's another car stereo shop a few blocks away, they're not as subtle:
You can't really see the texture of the roof here, it's some kind of synthetic fabric. Looks pretty silly, anyway.
Took these to back up my claim here:http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=169651
Is the gas tank in the front fender? Weird.
I sort of keep track of which SUVs I see with huge wheels more often then others;
It's mostly various GMs. Lowriders seem to mostly be GM, too (but not around here, because we don't have any).
1: I like GMT800 Silverados 2: Kal Tire has a nice paint scheme.
I actually stopped for this:
Two (or three) in three blocks, what are the chances? If you're in the UK and think the chances are pretty good, they aren't.
The local Constabulary:
Big fat Airstream:
There's a Lincoln Navigator in front of this.
70s Ford time:
351 Mach 1:
Nice Ranchero;
I was waiting for it to pull out to get a shot of the front, but it turned left.
Sounded cool though.
Another 70s Mustang, not as nice as the Mach 1:
Can anyone tell me the years for these? Mustangs seem to be basically the same from '71 to '73
540i parked behind the Mach 1:
Pretty hardcore looking tires.
STI:
See the R32 Skyline in the background here? I didn't. I only noticed it when it pulled out (loudly) onto the street and I shot this:
It's really not a very good camera
No other JDM stuff today, sadly.

It's too bad that people get that worked up Blackice_GTS. I see all kinds of vehicles I want to take pictures of and get up close and personal with but I hesitate most of the time. I know must people walk down the street completely ignoring all cars (or just not seeing them for what they are). For the people on this forum, it's so hard to just pass by without immediate curiousity. Just today I slowed down to a complete stop to look at a completely one of a kind yellow late 60s early 70s mint condition Saab.

I saw an Ariel Atom today! It was stopped at a stoplight. Too bad I couldn't see it accelerating

Oh joy! It’s a Airstream Classic Limited
I love Airstream trailers, I want one so bad I can’t stand it! But sadly I can’t afford one at the moment. They are really expensive, much more than your average travel trailer. Base price is almost borderline triple digits.
Thanks for posting BlackIce_GTS

These days, the only vehicles that can tow Airstreams are pickups, vans and SUV's.

This evening I've passed on the Autobahn A2 a towing-truck, which was busy to lift up a smashed late-90ies BMW 3 Series Cabriolet ("turkish tuning" : lower, big wheels, etc). Annother smashed car, an early-90ies Porsche 928 was waiting for the lift.
My thoughts: two idiots, who wanted to make an acceleration-contest on the free Autobahn, after the speed limit in a short tunnel, but who weren't able to handle with the wet road.
I had no pity.

Here’s a Ford presentation video (can be watched in high quality)
showing a 2008 Airstream 34 SO Classic Limited ultra-luxury travel trailer. The video is for the new 2009 Ford F-150, but the Airstream is shown at (1:00/2:08)
Absolutely love it ...

That camper is tiny! Though it does have surprising detail on the interior, even the floor has a pattern

Are you ready for this? This is the fine automobile I saw today right on the main strip in my town. Nothing beats that oval window in the back. Nothing. So what's the year, make, and model? Anyone?
These pictures were taken from my phone by the way.
Some kind of Volkswagen right?

Odd awful thing, indeed it looks like a modified VW Beetle, anyway funny that when they say that The US is where more SUVs are sold its not for nothing

I didn't even notice the background. 7 out of 14 visible vehicles are SUVs, that's nearly absurd.

The Beetle looks like a chopped bitsa: the fenders, wheels and bumpers look like a '67 1300/1500, but the big curved windscreen looks later. I suppose we should be grateful the guy didn't put a Rolls-Royce grille on it.

7 out of 9 vehicles visible actually but indeed it is so curious

I was laughing at that myself actually, there are WAY too many SUVs in the background. It's a common thing where I live. On the other hand, biking is HUGE, Breaking Away was filmed in my town. I drove my Montero briefly last night but biking has been my main means of travel. There are non-SUV vehicles in my town however, I swear

There's 10 vehicles (5 SUVs) in the second picture, and 5 vehicles (2 SUVs) in the first (I did't count the white blur because I can't tell what it is), where'd you get 7 out of 9?

10 vehicles in the second picture?! and 5 in the first one?! it's me who actually asks you where do you get so many cars from? i just see 4 cars in the first one of which two are SUVs and 6 in the second one of which 5 are SUVs, if we count them all together not repeatign the ugly Volkswagen that makes 9 cars in total between both pictures

Hahaha, this is very humorous. CarChase, you're missing the three sedans behind the Volvo SUV in the second picture. There are 10 visible vehicles in the second picture including the VW. There is another sedan behind the farthest silver SUV on the right.

J.C. Whitney was big on offering parts like that in the 1970's.
