The SUV is a Chevrolet Avalanche. They call it an SUT, I think of it as a fullsize pickup with a really small bed.

What is speical about a Toyota Prius, I'm wondering? Are they not common there? Seems like they would be...

Well, it's very debatable what makes a car "special". That Prius is Esther Rantzen's own car so in this case it should be featured. And I wouldn't say a Prius is very common in Europe. Maybe among rich people who want to make a green statement.

Actually I think I have to see my first Prius in the flesh, although they are sold in Belgium. Plenty of Yaris in stead. (which are probably greener anyway)

I saw Prius from time to time here in Brussels, they are not really rare.
