I think someone's been using our site, some of the pictures look like they've been borrowed from our pages (including ones I made!):

They could have given us some credit, but it's nice to know that a big website found our site useful.

They contacted me before doing the article
Notice this sentence in the second paragraph, just before the images: Lastly, a special thanks to our friends at The Internet Movie Car Database for use of their screenshots and car data. (with a link to imcdb)

Oh good  I only skimmed through that article so I didn't notice what was written in that paragraph at the beginning. That picture of the Dude's car from The Big Lebowski is mine

Looks like antp has become quite the journalistic reference as of late.

Do these external stories seem to cause an increase in traffic to the site, or a spike in registrations of new members?

I'll check Google stats in the next days for the first question.
For the second one, I do not know, I do not have stats for registrations unfortunately (I should store date of registration...)

Quote for "Christine" entry:
When Plymouth introduced the Fury name in 1957
Wrong! There was a 1956 Fury, introduced January 1956.
