Subject: [Cars & Movies] If you could to buy a movie car...
Why not? Surely, this had happend in the past.
So some years ago there was a -uncomplete and overpainted- NSU RO 80 to see in the music-video "Can't hold us down" of Christina Aguilera. Very interesting, because only a very few RO 80 were exported to the US.
A few months later it was sold at Ebay for not much money, something about 300 $ or so.
A friend of mine has bought a 1973 VW K 70 LS, which was driven by IRA-terrorists in the British movie "Hidden Agenda" of 1990.
Often cars, you can see in movies, are rented. I know a guy, who is a car-dealer in Bremen. Several cars, you can see in the German "Tatort"-criminal-movies are owned by him.
Somewhere in my emails I have the link to a company, who is looking for classic-car-freaks, who will loan their cars to movie-companies.

I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on Neville’s "Dark Seekers" killing machine ... I am a fan the book and I loved the movie; so why not own a piece of film. I would never use it as a daily driver though, I would only take it to car shows or something like special automotive events.

Gosh this is difficult, hmm, ive thought this many times and i'd love to have a museum with cars used in chases, that woud be great
and to drive oh well, i dont know, there are so many, i always liked both Explorers and Wranglers from Jurassic Park
or Back to the Future's Delorean
honestly i dont know, there would be so many i'd li9ke to own, like Matrix Cadillacs too
Seven series from Tomorrow NEver Dies, but with all the accesories huh
Ronin's M5... also, from Jurassic Park i always loved and still do the huge motorhome, gosh i really love that vehicle since i saw it from first time when i watched the movie, ive been always looking for a model of it but never found one
That's it.

Like carchase says ...this is a hard choice.!
From childhood, it would be the tv series Batmobile (lincoln futura) ..but I don't think this would be very practical for normal driving.!
I also loved in my teen years KITT (..if only it was real.!
)
Others to choose from, Steed's Jag XJ 5.3 Big Cat (I've just listed this elsewhere on the forum among 10 of my all time favorites
)
The Car from the movie "The Car"
I think that would get a few peoples attention.!

A 1957 Dodge Coronet 4d sedan used in season 4 of Lassie 1957-58. I'm not a truck guy very much, but after the sedan the show used a 58 Dodge stepside and later 60s sweptside Dodges. There were also Dodge and Plymouth wagons with Forest Service markings.
This was just posted from a different film (Thanks no_car):
