Subject: [Misc] Post pictures of your rides
Post what you think is the best picture of your car or cars in this thread. I'm curious to see what all your cars really look like.
Because I know there are some people that love 1980's cars (Bravada and G-MANN, lol), here are my two cars. As you probably know, they are a Graphite Gray 1989 Ford Tempo Sedan and 1994 Chevrolet Cheyenne K-2500.
And here is my mom's Silverado.

Forgive me for being blatantly obvious, but, some of us have our vehicles posted on our profiles ... if you want to see them, why not just visit the user’s profile?
Anyway – my vehicle is on my profile:

it's mine. $20 for a Munich plate off Ebay, $70 for the plastic trim to mount the plate (since US trim is smaller) and $20 for the Vento badge. Now that i'm in NC I put that plate on the front of my wagon. I'm currently saving up for the black euro trim and a euro hatch.
I spent way too much on this car. I paid to lower the car, Driver's Edition rims off a GTI, GTI front headlights and hood, fog horns and a special air intake. If I would have kept it I was saving up for the euro bumpers.
I found out that it had been hit in the rear. The area wasn't treated right so it started to rust. I also had issues with window regulators and a radiator leak. So one day when i went with a friend to buy her Cabrio, the white Passat pulled up behind her and they were cleaning it out to put the stuff in their new Passat...so I had the salesman sell it to me before their deal on their new Passat was even finalized.

@ahight: your way to mount an German plate under the real one, is not unusual, not in America, also not in Japan. I've organized several expired German one (WOB for VW-freaks, IN for Audi-lovers, S for Mercedes, M for BMW) and have send it to a friend in Japan. Over there he has sold it for a plenty of money to local car-freaks.
To pay 70$ for just the plastic-frame is too much (20 Bucks for a regular plate, too). I got these frames (for my Japanese friend, I dislike them on my cars) for free from junk-yards or even from the local VW-dealer.
By the way: I have helped Swedish friends to buy two Ventos just like yours in my area. They are still happy with them and both will reach the 350 000 km soon.

Sorry guys, I'm not able to put my photos over here.
Either use imageshack like on imcdb comments, or use the "attach a file" field below message...

$70 was for the plastic body part that fits between the taillights. The original can be seen here: http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_104814-Volkswagen-Jetta-Typ-1H-1994.html so it only fits the US plate. The Munich plate with frames from a Munich dealership for the pair only cost $20.
For the Passat i'm hoping to get the black bumper and door trim that has the area for the wide plate on the front bumper..like this one: http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_137800-Volkswagen-Passat-Variant-Typ-3B-1999.html
Or perhaps find it in Andorra (posting 1246)
