What cars does your local police department use? The Kenai Police Department here uses the usual Ford Crown Victoria's, Ford Expedition's and several Ford F-350 Super Duty XL 4x4's.

Here in Trollhättan, Sweden, the police use Volvo V70 and SAAB 9-5 Kombi as patrolvehicles.

My county has an unmarked silver 2005 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I live across the street from the Govt Center.The Sheriff's Dept also has a 4-door Chevy pickup and a Ford F-250 that are marked.

Here you can see a bit of everything, the municipal police of my city uses Peugeot 306, a Chevrolet Captiva a Galloper, the local one goes for the same Peugeot 306 Peugeot 307, but La Guardia Civil uses better and bigger cars now, they have Peugeot 406, Citroen C5, Nissan Patrol GR.

Like Ccf for Spain, here in Belgium there are many different ones.
Peugeot 206 and 307, Opel Astra and Vectra, VW Golf, Toyota Corolla, Ford Focus and many others.

New Hanover and Brunswick Counties (I’m originally from Brunswick, then I moved to New Hanover) have lots of Ford Crown Victorias (Undercover and Marked), Chevrolet Express Vans, Ford Expedition SSV Patrol Units (Undercover and Marked) Its not uncommon to drive thru Brunswick County and find a Ford Expedition pulling someone over (because of speeding, reckless driving, etc) ... Ford Expedition SSV K-9 Units , Dodge Durango K-9 Units ... and maybe a new Ford Mustang GT.

Neptune..we also have the new Dodge Chargers and Tahoe's.

Out in Toronto the primary police car is the Ford Crown Victoria (with a new paint scheme), though there were a few Impalas that were used for evaluation purposes. Other vehicles include 2006 Chevrolet Suburbans (for the Emergency Task Force), and a variety of parking enforcement cars (Chrysler Neon, Chevrolet Cavalier, Ford Focus, Honda Civic)

I thought I had left one or two out ... But yep, we sure do have those as well ... And I have also seen a Ford F-250 Super Duty (or it may have been a F-350 Super Duty, not sure which one)

Our basic patrol vehicle is the Crown Victoria. Our field seargents have PPV Tahoes. As for the whole fleet, we have a wide array of other vehicles. SSV Expeditions, Chevrolet heavy duty trucks, even a Hummer H2 for search and rescue.

In my area VW Passat Variant and Opel Vectra Caravan are most common.

I live in a very small town so we only have 2 vehicles. A 2003 Ford Explorer and a (I'm guessing a 2001) Ford Crown Victoria. In the past we also had an older mid 90's Crown Victoria as we as an early 90's last gen. Caprice and a late 80's Cherokee.
