Subject: [Useful info and links for identification] Old Car Brochures
I just stumbled upon this site and it seems to have quite a few old car brochures and owner's manuals which may prove useful in identification purposes. It is not comprehensive for every make and model, but there is quite a bit there. I find some of these old manuals to be quite interesting and thought others might too. I also like their philosphy that all of this information should be freely available to everyone.

Also be sure to visit Edwin Storm's brochure site. He works in co-operation with TOCMP and is more specializing on European cars. Anyone can send their scanned brochures there. I have sent few myself.

This is a German site that features many ads and brochures, as well as hi-res images. I hope it lasts, because I don't have the time or space to copy it all. For US brochures, click American Cars link at left.

I have posted quite a few here (in the past) and also went with Edwin to the Excel London Motorshow in 2006
I had been posting lots of brochure's to him (many E-mails)I think he listed my contributions as 'Steve' (or steve from london?)
Anyway since that time i've not really sent much to him (always too much i'm adding here.!)
He had said he wished to visit London for the new Excel motor show, so we agreed to meet up.! (strange at first to meet someone new, but I think we got on okay)He had a good visit.

That's pretty cool, except they stop at 1970, and all the cars I like were made after 1970
I guess you already knew this one, but just to list it, a very good Datsun/Nissan Brochures site: http://www.ratdat.com
I'm familiar with this site, but I don't look at it as often as I should. I just found out about a few Chevrolet Motor Homes that I've been having trouble proving existed. Not anymore.

I think I'll try to find out if they have the Ford LTD Motor Homes they made in the 1970's.

Hey taxiguy, I think you're going to like this one:

I thought that was just hype at first. Sure, I knew they were bigger than your average sedans or station wagons, but it took a picture of those front-facing bench seats to convince me.
Oh, BTW, that site didn't have the Ford LTD Motor Homes.
I'm sure you remember that my family had a 1971 Ford F-250 Custom pickup. Well, in 1971 Ford recommended that customers who buy F-250 Camper Specials haul campers that were 11 feet long.

My dad's truck wasn't even a Camper Special, and it hauled a 12 foot camper!
