My brother took a trip to Iran for three weeks. It was an unusual destination to travel and not many tourists were travelling there. Here are some of the vehicles he saw in the streets of Teheran. Let's try to identify these cars

That Lada looks like it hasn’t been moved or used in years.

I'm surprised some of the American cars are still running, but I suppose Iranians are as clever as Cubans when it comes to maintaining old cars.

I may go to Europe on a school trip next summer. When I go, this is exactly what I'll do.

Which country are you going to visit?

London England, Paris France, and Rome Italy. However I'm not 100% sure if I'm going.

BTW, did you know Iran Khodro builds a "Peugeot RD", which is the old Paykan RWD chassis mated with the 405's body?

Two VW K 70 are known in the Iran, one in Tabriz, one in Teheran. For the car in Teheran I send packet with spare-parts.

It's now positive that I am going to Europe for a while. I hope to get pictures, but I'm not sure if they'll be posted. They won't be if I take a disposible camera. I leave tomorrow and will come back 10 days later.
