Subject: [Misc] First car you ever drove
I am not even sure that I "drove" a car before I officially learned to drive when I was 18 (minimal legal age here, though that under some conditions you can start few months before).
I learned with the Peugeot 205 of my mother in 1998-1999, and drove it until I bought a Peugeot 106 in mid-2001

The first car I ever drove was my fathers 1985 Ford Granada (not US Granada
). I just drove circles on empty parking lot. But the first real driving experiment was at driving school; a dark green Toyota Avensis. Probably the dullest car in the world. I can still remember that interior smell...

First car I ever drove was my mom's '86 Dodge Lancer. I had just gotten my learner's permit at 15.5 y/o and I was so excited when my dad let me drive home from the DMV. That was the only car I ever drove for the next three months. They gave me that car when I got my license. It's a POS and I hated that car. I'm happy it's gone.
The first car that I ever drove was my brother's VW Golf I when I was 15.
Then I drove also his BMW 315 E21. I learned to drive with my father's beautiful '81 Alfetta in 1995. Also here the first legal age it's 18 for the driving licence.

Like Bebert I had a peddle car when I was 4-5 years old (austin devon?).!
My first real road vehicle was my Derbi GT4v motorbike (started riding it when I was 14) around my local housing estate.
My first car (three wheels.!) was a reliant Regal 3/25 (only driven a couple of times).
First car I owned,still 3-wheels (reliant robin 850)
driven using my full motorcycle licence.
The first full size vehicle I've driven was a Leyland Refuse truck while working for my local council.!
First car(4-wheels)i've owned was a Vauxhall Viva (n-reg I think?) good car.!

Everyone here seems luckier than I was, my dad never let me drive anything until I reached the legal age of 17 and got my provisional licence. Being one of the youngest in my year at Sixth-Form College (my birthday is in July), some of my slightly older friends in my year had passed their test and were driving by the time I was legally old enough to get behind the wheel of a car.
