Subject: [Misc] Car videos worth watching :)

The British reputation for bad behaviour on holiday is, I'm afraid, well deserved. Cheap liquor and sunshine are both strange to them ...
When my mother and I went abroad with the car (Mini) for the first time in 1964, we stayed in a bed-&-breakfast in Rotterdam (we had relations-by-marriage there). Mother asked the man of the house about how the Dutch liked their visitors.
'We like the British very much,' he replied. 'We like the French too. The Germans ... we don't like very much. But we are Dutch: we take their money.'
At that time the Germans had a habit of digging little forts on the beaches at Zandvoort and Noordwijk-aan-Zee, and decorating them with pebbles spelling out besetzt bis zum 1. September.
Sorry, ingo ...
I have to admit we tended to avoid Brits when we travelled abroad on holiday, even when they weren't badly behaved. French, Germans, even Iraqis, fine: Brits, never!

@Antoine: I was teached by an Dutch guy, that, when I'm asking French dealers (trying it in my very weak French) on oldtimer-markets for K 70-stuff, I shall always say "K-soixante-dix" and not "K-septante" - with "septante" the French guy would think "Ough, a Belgian guy" - and his prices will go up.
with your German accent he could think to a Swiss guy too, but as Swiss have reputation of having more money that would not help either.Latest Edition: 20/06/2008 @ 08:43:44
To pick again the Belgians: just 20 minutes ago I was passed on the Autobahn by a Belgian Volvo V 70 with trailer for motorbikes - it drove 160 km/h.
@Antoine: the speed limit of 80 km/h for cars with trailers goes for both, not 80 km/h for the car, plus 80 km/h for the trailer.

The other day while watching TV i happend to watch the advert for the brand new CLC SportCoupé, when i saw it i thought for a moment that the city in the advert was the capital city of my region, Santander (Cantabria), now i have found the video on youtube and i can confirm that it is indeed Santander, i always thought its big avenue called "Paseo Pereda" "Pereda Boulevard in english" would be nice for a car chase or something car related since it is long and straight, and with very nice buildings all along it, to me the city of Santander is very nice and i love going there, i hope to live in it in a future
well, here's the advert:

I have read that this advert was made to be shown in several european countries so perhaps some of you have already watched it?

Just thought they would have used a Spainish song is all. Especially when the narration afterwards was in Spanish.
Although, I have noticed that American songs are popular in ads for other countries.
Another example of this (the commercial was made for somewhere in Europe... I want to say Sweeden?)
Creative, funny ad btw

Kind of makes you wonder what their other car is, doesn't it?

Ok, last post for now I promise
Not really a car video specifically, but I've always liked this ad for a few reasons.
It's a good song, nicely done, and I just generally like these videos where people start singing and dancing out of nowhere, it would be cool if that could happen in real life.
As for the other reason why I like it, well I think you can figure that out for yourselves

They dont drive on the other side in Sweeden, i'd say that it was made for Australia, but the advert indeed it is quite funny, i think i had seen it before but im not sure.
