I still don't understand why people 'underestimate' Fords, they're great, reliable cars from a major company to pioneer mass production and making money! :ohwell:

Ford LTD Motor Home: FOUND!

http://www.kwyjibo.com/rv/view.asp?i=amh1972fordltd.jpg

I've mentioned in the past that Ford sold motor homes with the LTD name attached to them in the 1970's, but I wasn't able to find any proof of one until today. After Garco suggested that the Winnebago Motor Home in Black Sunday (1977) was a Brave, I tried to look for other Braves with the same trim. That was when I found a link suggested by ahight on this page which just happened to have one.

Remember how I've mentioned that a Ford Tractor and Truck rental dealership in Coram used to paint all their tractors and trucks yellow and blue? Well, I haven't found any color photos of the ones from the dealer, but I did find a yellow & blue Ford construction tractor:

This Ford pickup, can't be an F-150. They didn't make them when this was built:

Here's a site on Ford Fairmonts(and occasionally Mercury Zephyrs):

Now does anybody see this truck?

I just found out the make and model today; Since it's on this thread, it's obviously a Ford product. But more specifically it's an MTO-71 built by Orrville Metal Products of Orrville, Ohio in coooperartion with the Military Truck Operations of Ford Tractor Division. I just found out about it from the book "Ford Trucks Since 1905," by James K. Wagner.

Here's another link you might like: The difference between the first and second generation Ford Taurus/Mercury Sable:

The Third generation ones are far too obvious and ugly.
